Marisa GARIGLIO: Curriculum Vitae

  • 1984: Doctor in Biology, University of Turin.
  • 1990: Medical Degree, University of Turin.
  • 1994: Ph.D. in Immunology, working at the Department of Public Health and Microbiology, Medical School, University of Turin.
  • 1990-1992: Visiting scientist at the Department of Molecular Biology "Hoffmann La Roche", Basel.
  • 1995: Assistant Professor at the Department of Medical Sciences (laboratory of Molecular Virology), University of Eastern Piedmont "A. Avogadro", Novara.
  • 1998: Associate Professor of Microbiology, University of Eastern Piedmont "A. Avogadro", Novara.
  • 2001 to date: Full Professor of Microbiology, and Head of the laboratory of Molecular Virology at the Department of Translational Medicine, Medical School, University of Eastern Piedmont "A. Avogadro", Novara.
  • 2005-2013: Coordinator of the PhD program in Clinical and Experimental Medicine.
  • 2007 to date: Founder and President of the academic spin-off NoToPharm, whose R&D activity is aimed at developing new diagnostic tools for autoimmune diseases.
  • 2014 to date: Vicecoordinator of the PhD program in Medical Sciences and Biotechnologies.
